  2. Captivating image, Kristin. The multiple images of the skeletons give them a haunting animation. For some reason, it makes me think of the surrealist painting ” Creation of the Birds” by Remedios Varos. Perhaps it’s that she depicts birds too, lifting in flight from her page.

    In my hybrid poem here, I have a line: “my limbs and torso unclassifiable as natural in origin”, as well as imgery about migrating birds. It feels as if your photo & my poem are somehow in dialogue with each other …
