The Love Seeker
What is that I hear?
Is it coming from you, dear?
Is it the voice
That screams for nights without me?
Twin sisters Ann and Kirby Kenny (she/her, they/them) are American writers and artists whose work explores themes of confinement, redemption, and self-discovery. They juxtapose folklore with realism as a means of probing their world. Their writing will appear in forthcoming issues of Ghost City Review, Rogue Agent Journal, and Zimetra International Magazine. What is that I hear?
Is it coming from you, dear?
Is it the voice
That screams for nights without me?
These woods are no longer mine,
No longer silent.
Mad attendants of
White,
Milk,
Ivory
Crowd near.
